Who can apply?
The Accredited Speaker program is designed to give professional speakers a competitive edge by having their talents recognized by Toastmasters International. If you are a current Toastmasters member in good standing, have earned a qualifying education award and have given a minimum of 25 non-Toastmasters speaking engagements within the past three years, you may be eligible to apply. Please review the program rules as outlined in the Accredited Speaker Program Handbook to ensure you meet the criteria.

How are candidates evaluated?
The Accredited Speaker program features two levels. Level 1 of the program requires your application form, recommendations, video presentation and application fee be submitted to World Headquarters no later than February 1 of the program year. If you advance to Level 2, you will give a live presentation in front of a live audience and a panel of judges during the Toastmasters International Annual Convention. If you meet all the requirements outlined in the program rules, application, and Judges Guide and Ballot, you will be awarded the prestigious Accredited Speaker designation.
